WILLIAM (he/they) is a visual artist from Milan, Italy.

After spending five years immersed in London’s theatre and art scenes, he returned home with a renewed interest in the visual arts.

He began experimenting with oil painting in 2023, and in 2024 he attended the Scuola Superiore degli Artefici at Brera Academy of Fine Arts, where he started integrating charcoal and chalk into his practice.

Now an undergraduate Painting (BA) student at the Academy, his research draws on a range of artistic influences, as well as his background in performance, to explore themes of selfhood, queerness and post-internet aesthetic cultures.
